What is Sleep Out?
Sleep Out is a joint effort between three non-profits in the Tallahassee area focused on ending homelessness. They are Big Bend Homeless Coalition (BBHC), Capital City Youth Services (CCYS) & Connecting Everyone with Second Chances (CESC). All three organizations are our front line, homeless service agencies who provide emergency shelter, case management, basic needs, and supportive services to help our neighbors move into stable housing.
What kind of camping supplies should I bring?
Participants shout bring whatever items they need to feel comfortable to sleep. Note the city does not allow tents or anything staked down into the grass so no tents. We encourage participants to bring a tarp for their sleeping set up.
Other things you can bring:
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Extra blankets
- Water/water bottles
- Food
Things that will be provided:
- Cardboard
- Water
- Snacks
- Security
- Restroom facilities
How many members can be apart of a team?
There are no limits on the amount of team members for fundraising.

Where does the money raised by our team go?
Proceeds from the event will be divided evenly amongst the three organizations for use in their programs to reduce homelessness.

Nightcap reception tickets are $30 per person.
